The Animas 2020 pump uses a lithium battery. Lithium is known to provide reliability and performance in many situations, including high and low temperatures and severe environmental conditions, so whatever your lifestyle dishes out, this battery can take it. And it has a life of 5 to 7 weeks — longer than the batteries in other pumps — making it convenient as well.
