Animas® Vibe® Insulin Pump & Dexcom G4® PLATINUM CGM System.
Animas® Vibe® Insulin Pump - unmatched accuracy and precision..
With a highly accurate Swiss-made motor, the CGM-enabled Animas® Vibe® Insulin Pump can deliver precise increments of insulin, to meet your changing needs. Designed to streamline the whole Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) process, it gives you a continuous, accurate view of how your blood glucose is performing. Here’s how.

A pump for everybody. Even for the most insulin sensitive.
Every body needs accuracy. Here’s why: For anyone with diabetes, having the right amount of insulin at just the right time is important to keep blood glucose in range. Animas® Vibe® provides superior accuracy in basal insulin delivery. So you can be confident that you’re getting the insulin that you program.

Colour screen, waterproof, CGM-enabled insulin pump.
The Animas® Vibe® Insulin Pump is the first Dexcom G4® PLATINUM CGM-enabled insulin pump to have a high-contrast colour screen. It delivers rich information, too. Coloured trend arrows and lines show where your glucose is heading and how fast, so you can consider this information, along with the results of fingerstick testing, to help guide therapy adjustments.‡

Unlike other insulin pumps, ours are tested and proven waterproof at 3.6 meters for up to 24 hours.* So you get uninterrupted insulin delivery while swimming or taking a bath, and peace of mind when there’s unexpected contact with water.

When used with an Energizer® L91 Lithium battery the Animas® Vibe® System lasts for up to 3-4 weeks.§
Our insulin pumps are compatible with all insulin infusion sets using standard Luer lock connectors, so you are free to find the one that fits you best. Our insetTM II and insetTM 30 are all-in-one infusion sets combining the inserter and infusion set in a single, portable unit. They are a snap to change anytime, anywhere.

A masterpiece in precision.
The Swiss-made motor of the Animas® Vibe® System can deliver tiny, precise increments of insulin for fine-tuned insulin delivery. The pump delivers a small basal increment (0.025 U/hr) across all the available basal rates (0.025 U/hr to 25 U/hr), to precisely meet your changing needs.
Our low bolus increment (0.05 U) helps precisely match insulin with food intake, and corrects high blood sugar readings. Our pumps can calculate a bolus amount to cover the carbs in food (ezCarb), and automatically calculate a correction dose of insulin based on the latest blood sugar reading (ezBG).
The Dexcom G4® PLATINUM Sensor is the most accurate in the market today.1,2

Built around you.
Know your bolus? Our normal bolus lets insulin pump users calculate the insulin and deliver it all at once. Up to four different basal rate profiles can be programmed for different insulin needs.
If you’re eating a high-fat meal, which is absorbed more slowly, or “grazing”, then our combo bolus lets you calculate the amount and split it, so some is delivered right away (normal bolus) and the rest over time (extended bolus).
You can’t always feel symptoms when you’re going high or low, but our customisable high and low alerts let you know. We also have a built-in, non-adjustable hypo safety alert set at 3.1 mmol/L for extra peace of mind.
Our “Insulin on Board” feature tracks the insulin still active in your body|| to help prevent hypoglycaemia due to “stacking” (making additional insulin unnecessarily).

Streamlined CGM Experience.
The Animas® Vibe® Insulin Pump is the only Dexcom G4® PLATINUM CGM-enabled pump that works with a sensor approved for up to 7 days of wear.
The Dexcom G4® PLATINUM Sensor introducer needle is the smallest available in comparison to Medtronic® Enlite®.†
diasend® software lets you upload your pump and meter data. It stores this information on the secure diasend® web site and also sorts it into charts and graphs, so you can review how you’re doing and share it with your healthcare professional, even between appointments.
diasend® Software.
diasend® is a web-based diabetes management system that allows you to store, review, and print your insulin pump, CGM and blood glucose meter data on the diasend® website.

Infusion sets.
An infusion set is what connects the pump to your body. Insulin is delivered from the cartridge in your pump through this thin tubing to your “infusion site” – which is where the tiny tube is placed just beneath the skin. The infusion set only needs to be changed every 2 to 3 days, but it can be disconnected and reconnected easily.
